About Us
Halt Equipment was born out of the desire to live in an environment at a more humane scale. Noting the lack of infrastructure supporting active transportation and cycling, as well as the unsafe conditions in which people have to travel, Halt’s team decided to act.
Since 2015, Halt’s team has been implementing cycling infrastructure projects with cities and businesses to meet the growing needs of the cycling community and active people.
Although it has expertise in cycling infrastructure, Halt Equipment also offers products and professional services to transit authorities including bus platforms made from recycled materials.

Founding President
Determined and visionary, Emmanuel wants to use his energy, knowledge and experience to improve the urban environment and active transportation. His rigor and professionalism define the excellence of his work with our partners and clients.
Emmanuel has a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Sherbrooke, as well as a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Cambridge in England.
Director of Marketing and Communications
Master of Business Administration candidate at the Université de Sherbrooke with many years of entrepreneurial experience, Naomi's role at Halt is to develop communication tools and marketing content that are useful to the company and our customers, which have a positive impact on our projects.
Sales Representative
A graduate of the University of Ottawa, Dominic is very interested in green energy and sustainable mobility. An experienced professional, he is actively involved in the projects put forward by the clients and thus contributes to their success.
Graphic Designer
Kim has more than ten years of experience in graphic design. Over the years, she has been involved in the development of numerous projects, including the development of products and brands for several companies. With an eye for detail, Kim accompanies clients by creating personalized designs for their brand.
