Parking a standard bike is pretty straightforward, if you know what you’re doing. Today you can count on two-hands the number of different, unique racks for traditional bikes you can find throughout a city. And they’re everywhere, from out on the streets to in a private bike room.
What’s essential is that a cyclist knows what works best for them and their bike. Trying to save space in a tiny bike room in the basement of your apartment complex? Vertical racks, stack racks, or stretch racks are your best friends in saving horizontal space, looking upward instead. Got tons of space? Maybe opt for a mix of racks, including wall-mounted racks and horizontal racks.
